Taken 2 2012 Movie Review **NO SPOILER**

MV5BMTkwNTQ0ODExOV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNjU3NDQwOA@@._V1_SX214_Well first let me say, I loved the first movie. It was pretty original, great action, great storyline, and overall very entertaining to watch. The second movie was clearly made for an American audience. Why do I say that? Let me explain without giving away the movie. In the first movie (the international version), Neeson ties up one of the bad guys to a chair, takes two knitting needles, jams them into his leg and electrocutes him. The American version he just electrocutes the chair. This was actually brought up in the second movie but was described by the bad guy the way the American version happened. Does this actually matter? I’m not really sure, but I feel like because Americans were the primary audience, the movie was made just to make money based upon the first movie. Anyway, I wasn’t really impressed with this sequel. There is obviously more people getting “taken” and there is some issues with the story, but overall, watching Liam Neeson run around in this movie was just plain sad. He looked like an old  badger hobbling around. Besides that, it was more of the same type of stuff as the first movie.

Overall – 6

Last word – Not bad, not great, just good.

  1. Great review George. Loud, dumb, and idiotic, but also a bunch of fun if you love seeing Neeson run around, shooting, driving, and killing anybody that gets in his way. Can’t say I loved it, but I had a good time with it.
